This exhibition is the latest installment of an ongoing arts project, a part of the InLight Collective; focusing on the amplification of BIPOC voices through the mediums of light, visual art and poetry. Transcend X III draws from work that explores ideas surrounding freedom of expression, inner spirituality and the process of healing. This installation served to remind us about BIPOC stories which aren't all accounts of painful experiences but rather of beauty, vulnerability and deep understanding. In the transformed space at JACK, we asked audience to lose themselves in the emotions invoked in that spatial environment and hone into the experience.
